Empowering girls and women through outdoor experiences

We belong outside.Field & Fin Collective creates opportunities for girls and women to experience the outdoors, develop practical skills, build confidence, and form meaningful connections with the natural world.

Find your wild...

Field & Fin Collective focuses on three areas—Hunt, Fish, and Wild—each offering a different way to build skills, confidence, and connection outdoors. From learning to hunt and casting a first fly to sleeping under the stars and building practical backcountry skills, these experiences are about more than recreation—they're about building confidence, capability, and a lifelong connection to wild places.

01. Hunt

Learn the skills. Understand the responsibility. Experience the tradition. From someone picking up a bow or firearm for the very first time to experienced hunters looking for community and new opportunities, Hunt is about creating confident, ethical, and knowledgeable outdoorswomen. Experiences may include shooting sports, archery, hunter education, wildlife conservation, field skills, mentorship, and opportunities to take what you've learned into the field.Never hunted before? Perfect. We'll help you start.

02. Fish

Make the first cast—or the thousandth.Fish creates opportunities to experience the water in all its forms, from learning to tie a knot and cast a line to fly fishing wild streams and pursuing new species. Through hands-on instruction, mentorship, conservation, and time on the water, participants can build skills at their own pace while discovering a lifelong connection to fishing. No rod, no gear, no experience? You still belong here.

03. Wild

Build the skills to feel at home outside.Wild is everything beyond the hunt and the water. Camping, backpacking, navigation, outdoor cooking, gardening, food preservation, wilderness preparedness, conservation, stewardship, and simply learning how to be comfortable outside. Experiences are designed to build practical skills, self-reliance, confidence, and a deeper relationship with the natural world.Whether you're preparing for your first night in a tent or your next backcountry adventure, there's always something new to learn.

Wild Together Weekend - February 19-21, 2027 - Utopia, Tx

A tent-camping weekend of outdoor adventure for women and girls ages 12–18.Wild Together Weekend is a beginner-friendly outdoor retreat created for both women and the younger girls in their lives to learn, explore, relax, and experience the outdoors together. This isn’t a kids’ camp with adults tagging along—the activities, experiences, and downtime are intentionally designed to be just as enjoyable for the women as they are for the girls. And you don’t have to be a mother and daughter to participate. Bring your daughter, granddaughter, niece, little sister, mentee, family friend, or another young woman in your life you’d love to share an adventure with.Over the course of the weekend, each pair will tent camp on private land in the Texas Hill Country, gather around the fire, learn practical outdoor skills, explore, eat good food, and enjoy plenty of time simply being outside together. No previous camping or outdoor experience is expected or required.Throughout the weekend, you’ll have opportunities to try skills like fire building, outdoor cooking, navigation, archery, wildlife identification, emergency preparedness, and more—all in a relaxed, supportive environment. There will be plenty to do, but this isn't a packed schedule of classes. We want you to have time to slow down, wander, laugh, sit around the fire, and enjoy where you are. Most importantly, Wild Together is about sharing the experience—putting down the phones, getting a little dirty, trying something new, building confidence, and creating the kind of memories that only happen outside.Whether you've spent your whole life camping or have never slept in a tent, you belong here.No experience necessary. Newbies encouraged.Hunt. Fish. Wild. You belong outside.
